Community Healthcare Depends on the good will, talents, skills, dedication and commitment of dedicated volunteers to ensure the highest quality of care to all in need of the services we provide.

Throughout the past eight years, Community Healthcare Network has successfully worked with over 1,200 medical professionals and support staff in our Health and Wellness medical missions. The efforts of these teams have transformed the lives of thousands of Africans with little or no access to professional healthcare. Many of the medical professionals include doctors, Nurses, anesthesiologist, surgeons and other medical professionals that have traveled across sea to support this program.

Community Healthcare Network carries out its programs BI annually. These programs are designed to achieve our mission of promoting and encouraging Healthier lifestyles, and adequate decision making skills. In addition we provide referral services, accessible information and community resource assistance.

Long Term Medical & Healthcare volunteer Needed

Are you a retired  Gynecologist, Surgeon, Family doctor, Nurse, Nurse Midwife, Radiology technologist, Neurologist, Ophthalmologist,  or other healthcare provider with an interest in serving a community in a way that will leave a real sustainable impact in the healthfield.

Are you a pre-health student (pre med, pre nurse) or aspiring medical professional looking to enhance your skill set and/or gain experience in another community across the globe through a healthcare volunteer abroad trip?

Or Are you willing to take part in the effort to bring first-rate healthcare to people who usually don’t have the regular opportunity to see a doctor or other healthcare provider?

If any of these applies to you, volunteering with community Healthcare network alongside with Franklin Jr. foundation  may be the perfect chance for you to volunteer abroad while also putting your hard-earned, specialized skills to use for people who don’t have reliable access to advanced medical care.

Overview

Our program is open to volunteers of all ages and educational or professional backgrounds. Volunteers are welcome to travel at any time and for a recommended  spend time up to six months to one year or more. We accept volunteers traveling individually as well as groups of various sizes.

Although our Volunteer program attracts skilled participants, previous experience is advantageous but not essential. Our healthcare volunteer work program are open to anyone with a passion to serve and make a difference in the global  healthcare community. The reality is that although many countries have adequate health care for most of their populations, this access doesn’t always extend to the marginalized groups or other undeserved populations.

As a medical volunteer with community Healthcare Network, you’ll be asked to use your skills to the betterment of those who need them most, you will be working alongside shadowing licensed medical practitioners at our Newly Built Medical facility located  in Imo State, Mbano Nigeria. You’ll gain experience and insight into a developing country’s healthcare system while performing a variety of tasks dependent upon your level of experience.
