Founded in 2008, Community Healthcare Network-Ng (CHCN-NG) is a Non-profit non-governmental charity organization duly registered in the United States of America and Nigeria with a 501(c)(3) exempt status. Our grassroots efforts spans over a decade of self funded free Bi-annual Medical missions serving the under-served and marginalized populations of Nigeria, West Africa. Through our medical missions, we have provided people with adequate ,accessible preventive and primary care. These annual missions gave way to an innovative healthcare designed we call the" prepaid clinic model" to determine the best and effective way to provide healthcare services to all who attended our missions. Our "prepaid clinic model" provided a basis for future development and expansion of such model. So far this innovative approach has serviced over 400,000 participants throughout Nigeria.
We have dedicated ourselves to transforming each village visited into an instant on site clinic complete with operating rooms, supported healthcare professionals and volunteer members, Laboratories for blood work and private examination rooms set up and made available to all patients.
Our services provided free HIV/AIDS testing and awareness , TB testing and treatment along with free Prenatal care. We have focused primarily on preventive medicine laboratory testing and treatments of variety of illness such as Diabetes, Hypertension, Typhoid, Malaria, Arthritis, Gastritis, Peptic Ulcer disease, Prenatal care, minor surgeries, Conjunctivitis, Iritic, Rashes, Fungal infection, Hepatitis C, Urinalysis with Gonorrhea/Chlamydia, Urinary tract infection.
In 2011, we launched a triple initiative 1) To treat and prevent malaria, 2) To reduce child malnutrition and 3) To reduce maternal mortality rates. By 2015 the acquisition of a fully equipped mobile clinic functioned to address the growing problem of the four main types of non-communicable diseases such as cardiovascular diseases which includes heart attacks and stroke), cancers, chronic respiratory diseases (such as chronic obstructed pulmonary disease and asthma) and diabetes.
We've been deeply moved by the region's long lacked access to high-quality health care so, in 2015 we set out to begin the Construction of a new 200 – bed medical facility. This 65,000 square-foot building is located on Hospital Road, Umuenyi Mbano Imo State, Nigeria.

Under this new model, patients will have all their health concerns addressed in a single visit. Community Healthcare Network complements its clinical services with outreach programs. Visits to small villages are made to people in their communities and screening for a wide array of diseases, helping us catch health problems early and refer patients to health centers for treatment.
